TMI Tuesday #146 - Romance Edition

1. What is your definition of romantic: A Mix between Chivalry, gentlemanliness (new word, just made it up, tell Webster's), and lovey dovey.. ness
2. Would you consider yourself to be romantic: Yeah, I'm rather romantic when in relationships I think
3. Is your significant other romantic: Don't have one, but would hope the future SO would be romantic
4. Have you ever chastised a SO for not being romantic enough or too romantic: Nah... I'm not saying women can't be romantic, but generally, at least from what I've seen, when I think of someone being romantic, I think of a guy being romantic to a woman. Maybe its a Prince Charming Complex, but it goes back to the soft (women) and hard (men) thing. One's gotta be into the romantic stuff (usually women) to make the stuff the one being romantic (men) does appreciated. If someone's not into, let's say, sports, giving them front row tickets isn't gonna make them jump for joy... Sometimes I type a lot of stuff, stop and think "Hey, does anyone even read this damn blog?" Now is one of those times.
5. What do you consider a grand romantic gesture? Have you ever been the recipient or giver of one: I think people underestimate the simple power of flowers. Not like, flower power, the hippie thing, but a dozen roses can go a long way, at least in my experience.
6. If you have done something romantic to get laid, did it work? If not, why and how did that affect your romantic tendencies in the past: Yeah, it worked. I've been trying romantic things to get laid since like 6th or 7th grade... never worked until about 9th grade.... and after it started working i did it more and more and got laid more and more... Most recently, I took a friend of my mom's to an expensive, romantic dinner, worked like a charm lol
7. What is the most romantic thing you have ever done? Had done for you: For valetine's day one year I sent a girlfriend of mine on a scavenger hunt to all the places we hung out that past 6 months. It got me laid. But then 2 weeks later i caught her banging her step brother, so that was the end of that lol...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little prince charming complex or "gentlemanliness". :)

Honey:
I agree... flowers gots the powers... well... I know a couplke girls who dislike getting flowers, not sure why, but it seems most women enjoy them.

Q:

Vixen:
Congrats.... there are plenty of women who wish they could find a guy with a prince charming complex... and I'm sure he feels equally as lucky about being married to you

Ms. Inconspicuous:
